Location: West View Court
Job Purpose:
The Gasoline/Xpress Manager at Hugo's Xpress Gas Station is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the gas station, ensuring efficient and safe fuel services, and providing excellent customer service. This role involves managing staff, monitoring inventory, and driving sales while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the gas station, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Supervise and train staff, fostering a productive and customer-focused team environment.
Monitor fuel and store inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries.
Handle cash reconciliation and ensure accurate financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe environment for both customers and employees.
Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities.
Drive sales through excellent customer service and effective merchandising strategies.

Required
Education:
High school diploma or GED Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Relevant experience in retail, customer service, fuel operations, or supervisory roles may substitute for higher education requirements
Required Experience:
Basic math skills and ability to operate cash registers
Experience in managing daily operations and supervising staff in a retail or fuel service environment
Proficiency in handling cash reconciliation and inventory monitoring
Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in fuel operations
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service role Experience in driving sales through excellent customer service
Background in coordinating deliveries and maintaining equipment
Required
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Manual dexterity for operating equipment and handling fuel nozzles
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Knowledge of safety procedures related to fuel handling is an advantage
