Part-Time Liquor Store Clerk

The City of Paynesville is accepting applications for a Part-Time Liquor Store Clerk up to 39 hours per week.

The Liquor Store is seeking applicants to assist customers with locating and purchasing merchandise, recommending products, cashiering on a point of sale system including collecting money and making change. Considerable ability to be friendly and deal courteously with the public while using judgment and discretion based on age, state of inebriation, and/or identify fraud is a must. The position will require working nights, weekends and holidays.

Minimum job requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with computers and must be at least 18 years of age and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Wage range for the position is $18.39 – $23.74 per hour per the Union Wage Scale. Consideration may be given for a higher step based on experience. Benefits include Earned Sick & Safe Time, paid training, matching deferred Comp, PERA and a flexible work schedule.
