About the Role
As a part‑time Sales Manager, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families, congratulating new parents and grandparents, introducing them to new baby essentials, and helping prepare for the first day of school and other parenting moments. You will foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, optimize skills and talents, and continuously educate yourself and your team on product styles, features, and benefits.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Become a product and brand expert to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14.
- Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
- Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
- Consistently model service standards and omni‑channel experience while coaching others to success.
- Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow‑through.
- Perform on‑duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with an appropriate resolution.
- Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity and implement actions to drive results.
- Build customer loyalty through company‑sponsored programs, including credit.
- Offer consistent, in‑the‑moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager.
- Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation.
- Support store team with asset protection through consistent customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls.
- A positive and solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation, etc.).
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder.
- Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
