- Meet with homeowners to evaluate heating, cooling, air quality, and energy‑efficiency needs.
- Educate customers, present customized solutions, and guide them toward the best investment.
- Focus on consultative sales, not applying pressure.
- Conduct in‑home comfort consultations with residential homeowners.
- Evaluate existing HVAC equipment and home comfort concerns.
- Present customized system replacement and upgrade options.
- Educate customers on efficiency, reliability, indoor air quality, and comfort solutions.
- Present financing and payment options that fit customer needs.
- Deliver professional proposals and confidently ask for the sale.
- Build trust through professionalism, honesty, and expertise.
- Create an exceptional customer experience from the first conversation through project completion.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with homeowners and team members.
- Represent South Sota One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning with integrity and professionalism.
- Follow company sales systems and ethical selling practices.
- Maintain pricing and profitability standards.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with installation and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Wear floor protection and respect every customer's home.
- Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Keep company vehicles clean and organized.
- Proven success in sales, in‑home sales, or customer‑facing consultative sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong work ethic and self‑motivation.
- Ability to manage schedule and follow through on opportunities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- HVAC industry experience.
- Home improvement, remodeling, roofing, windows, solar, plumbing, or other in‑home sales experience.
- Experience presenting financing options and closing larger‑ticket sales.
- Genuinely enjoy helping people.
- Build trust quickly.
- Listen before recommending solutions.
- Take ownership of their results.
- Are coachable and growth‑oriented.
