The role

In your role as a Research Scientist, we want you to strengthen our Trichoderma expertise and technology capabilities in Molecular Biology team, working in close collaboration with Scientists, Project Managers and key stakeholders. Your main responsibility is to take part in development of enzyme products and Trichoderma production platform within cross-functional teams. We are expecting that you perform and manage molecular biology and microbiological laboratory tasks including design of experiments, result reporting and documentation.

About you

You hold a PhD or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or adjacent sciences. You are a reliable team player with strong collaboration and communication skills. We appreciate a high level of responsibility and accountability and willingness to expand scientific knowledge. Solid background knowledge in microbiology and previous experience in fungal production platforms and enzyme industry is highly preferred. Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, knowledge of Finnish is an asset.
