Talon Metals Corp is seeking a Core Logging Geologist to support the Tamarack Nickel-Copper Project in Aitkin County, Minnesota. Working closely with our full geoscience team, you will be responsible for detailed drill core logging as part of ongoing exploration drilling programs.

Key Responsibilities:- Prepare drill core for logging — wash and orient core, mark depths, and record RQD
- Conduct detailed geotechnical logging and record structural features
- Log lithological, mineralogical, and alteration characteristics
- Assist with data interpretation and occasional 3D modeling in Leapfrog
- Select, cut, package, and ship core samples for geochemical analysis
- Perform assay QA/QC and contribute to assay result modeling
- Support fieldwork efforts, including prospecting and geophysical surveys
- Perform additional tasks as required to support exploration efforts
- B.Sc. in Geology or related field
- 0–5 years’ relevant experience in exploration/mining; prior core logging experience preferred
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong team collaboration skills, with ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and a safety-focused mindset
