Security Guard- Part-Time

Location: Olson's Mobile Home Park

Department Security Employment  Status Part-Time No Benefits Hours Eight - or Twelve-Hour Shifts Every Other Weekend Schedule Details Shift Rotation - Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends Position Objective:
This position is under the direct supervision of the Security Supervisor for assigned shift of the security department and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, patients, visitors, and staff. In the event of a disaster, Security Officer will work closely with the Nursing Supervisor to maintain hospital functionality and safety.

Essential Responsibilities The following description of responsibilities to be performed is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished.

General Duties Security Guard IGuards property against damage, fire, theft, and illegal entry

Makes periodic tours about buildings and rounds, examining doors, windows and entrances to ensure that they are properly secured.

Investigates disturbances, and in the event of an emergency, maintains order and safety of personnel.

May serve as liaison with police on mutual problems.

Security Guard IIGeneral duties as above

Monthly review of various security equipment (i.e. cameras, panic buttons, med sleds, etc.).Maintenance of security vehicles

Required Qualifications Security Guard ICompleted 1st year of Law Enforcement AAS degree or equivalent in experience.

Completed 1st year of Law Enforcement AAS degree or equivalent in experience.
