Video & Security Installation Technician
West of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $28–$36/hour (Based on Experience)

Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a company specializing in smart home technology, media systems, networking, and integrated security solutions for luxury residential properties throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
We are seeking experienced Installation Technicians to support high-end residential projects located primarily west of Minneapolis/St. Paul. This role is ideal for someone with strong low-voltage experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work professionally in custom luxury homes.
Job Responsibilities for Low Voltage Technician- Familiarity with basic construction tools, ladders, and equipment.
- Perform rough ins based off blueprints
- Installation of AV/Security equipment and Lighting Control devices
- Fishing wires through finished spaces
- Program Lutron/Crestron Lighting Control; organize and manage Lighting Control Projects
-Once Trained - Dig and install outdoor systems
- Maintain documentation of systems
- Instruct end users for the control of the system
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in low voltage electrical systems
- Experience in home automation, AV systems, security systems, camera systems, lighting control, and networking is highly preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software-related issues
- Previous experience in residential construction or labor-intensive roles is required.
- Valid driver’s license
- Residential AV or smart home integration
- Camera systems (LTS, Hikvision, Ubiquiti, etc.)
- Networking and Wi-Fi systems
- Alarm and access control systems
- Home automation platforms
