Role Overview
This dual-role combines field leadership with hands-on technical work. You will lead production on-site, manage emergency mitigation services, and work side-by-side with other technicians while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
⏰ Hours & Availability
- Standard Shift:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. - Flexibility:
Must participate in the mandatory weekday and weekend on-call rotation. - Emergency Response:
Willingness to assist in "all hands on deck" emergency scenarios.
Emergency Response & Field Leadership
- Lead emergency losses including water extraction, drying services, mold remediation, and fire/smoke mitigation.
- Supervise on-site teams, assign tasks, and translate production coordinates into physical results.
- Manage job site success, ensuring full completion of the scope of work and pristine job site cleanliness.
- Input daily documentation including photos, notes, scope sheets, and MICA entry.
- Collect field documents such as work authorizations and Certificates of Completion (COCs).
- Provide daily status updates to the Project Manager and communicate effectively with property owners, managers, and insurance adjusters.
- Drive company vehicles safely and report maintenance needs (e.g., check engine lights) immediately.
- Maintain clean, organized, smoke-free company vehicles and equipment.
- Manage company supplies efficiently to minimize waste and ensure tool longevity.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Mitigation Technician with restoration documentation knowledge (Dry Logs, Scope sheets).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and direct others.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with smartphone apps.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation to work.
- Ability to lift at least 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to work around standard restoration chemicals without adverse reactions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Compliance:
All work must meet OSHA safety regulations and Paul Davis standards. - Professionalism:
