Journeyman Plumber

Pay Rate: $38.00 an hour

SUMMARY:

Maintain all plumbing fixtures, equipment, water supply lines, sanitary lines and gas lines. Plan and perform new plumbing for remodel, expansions, renovations and all plumbing Preventive Maintenance Systems. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Perform preventative maintenance of all plumbing fixture

* Perform plumbing duties and inspections

* Repair sinks, stools, faucets, drains, traps, sumps and filter systems

* Plan and develop recommendations for renovations and expansions

* Ensure adherence to Minnesota state codes

* Estimate costs for projects and expansions

* Responsible for inventory control and purchasing of plumbing equipment and supplies

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Certification

Required:

* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

* State of Minnesota Journeyman's license

* Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

Preferred:

* Any certificates or license pertaining to this role such as Master Plumber

Required:

* Accurate and detail-oriented

* Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

* Strong mechanical aptitude

* Ability to work independently
