ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform electrical wiring, installation and repairs throughout facility and property.
Perform upkeep of facility and property, both inside and outside.
Maintain HVAC system.
Maintain plumbing, water and sewage systems.
Perform carpentry duties.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in all phases of electrical work required.
Basic plumbing and carpentry experience preferred.
Class A Journeyman required.
Boiler license and pool certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
Must possess valid driver's license. (Applicants with an out of state license must obtain Minnesota license within 30 days of hire.)
Experience with painting, wood finishing, cement finishing and rubber roofing helpful.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

Excellent electrical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Basic plumbing and carpentry skills.
Knowledge of all required tools and equipment.
Able to learn basic HVAC equipment and computer.
Mechanically inclined.

UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS

Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
Regular attendance and punctuality.
Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Mobility throughout the facility.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
