Pump and Power Technician 2

The Pump & Power Technician 2 performs basic diagnostics and equipment repairs in the safest and most effective way possible with an emphasis on returning equipment to service to avoid equipment downtime.

• Perform basic diagnostics on Pump & Power equipment.
• Repair and maintain Pump & Power equipment with minimal downtime.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.

• 3‑5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration (EPA Certified), electrical engines, dehumidification equipment, compressed air treatment.
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heater and shoring; understanding of diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic flow.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more. Work indoors and outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $26.46 - $38.03 per hour. Starting rate may vary by location, education, training, or experience.
