Job Summary
The Maintenance Support Technician is responsible for all site preventive and corrective maintenance processes. The individual will have strong previous background in industrial maintenance, to include both electrical and mechanical skills. The individual must report all work using the current CMMS and verbally communicate findings to the supervisors, managers, and fellow team members. The individual is responsible to follow up with work order generation, parts identification, and resolution in collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Planner to ensure all findings are action planned and repaired and report all parts usage using sign out processes currently available.

Sun-Thurs 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Follow and exemplify all safety and food safety rules, processes, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate Reckitt values.
- Perform all preventive maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair all equipment in the facility, including conveyors, fillers, labelers, can seamers, end cappers, automatic case packers, automatic palletizers, shrink wrappers, stretch wrappers, and printers.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair PIVs (powered industrial vehicles); troubleshoot and repair 480 volt 3-phase electrical systems, 208/230/240 and 120 volts AC equipment.
- Automated system troubleshooting.
- Tig and Mig welding (sanitary welding experience is a plus); all other hot works including oxy-acetylene cutting.
- Machining (lathe and end mill).
- Fabricating.
- New equipment installation (equipment setting and electrical hook-up).
- Operate PIVs including forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating lifts.
- Use common hand tools and power tools.
- Record all work activities using the current CMMS – SAP. This includes completed work, input on new work, work order creation, and parts checkout.
- Follow daily work schedule and notify Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager if work is not completed.
- Work holidays and weekends as required to support site maintenance shutdowns.
- Learn new job-related skills as required, including trainings on new equipment.
- Perform maintenance shop cleanup and organizing tasks.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a can-do approach to problem solving.
- Have a two-year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology and a minimum of two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience that includes electrical and mechanical work; or have 5 years combined maintenance education and experience.
- Be a collaborative leader, a strong team player with solid interpersonal skills.
- Be a self-starter, able to work effectively with minimal supervision, with good organizational and planning skills.
