Position Details
$34.10 - $44.35 per hour depending on experience. Sign-On Bonus: $5,000. 4-Day Work Week:
Thursday – Saturday 5:30 pm – 5:30 am and Wednesday 11:30 pm - 5:30 am.

Responsible for diagnosing and repairing medium to heavy‑duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, converter dollies, and maintenance vehicles under minimal supervision. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations.
Primary Responsibilities- Complete preventative maintenance on minor repairs and standard component inspections/repairs of fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units) and identify root causes of basic failures/conditions.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other critical parts for proper operating condition, replacing parts as necessary.
- Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration before deemed “roadworthy.”
- Maintain thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
- Use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, precision instruments) and power tools (pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks, hoists) for routine maintenance (changing oil, checking batteries, lubricating equipment).
- Perform diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and electronic component repair.
- Provide training to other employees.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
- Perform road‑call services as needed.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of proven medium to heavy‑duty vehicle repair experience, including PMs, tire & wheel, air & air‑disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in A/C refrigeration.
