Fiber Technician

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship. As a Fiber Technician I, you will locate and repair fiber impairments, work independently in the field, and connect new fiber builds for residential and enterprise customers. Your responsibilities include maintaining and improving fiber networks to ensure optimal customer connectivity.

• Work independently while collaborating with team support
• Examine existing fiber plant and perform repairs
• Connect new fiber builds and maintain network integrity
• Utilize fiber testing, splicing equipment, and knowledge of fiber architectures

• High school diploma and industry certifications (e.g., NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)
• At least 1 year of maintenance or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of fiber systems, testing, splicing, and CWDM/DWDM technologies
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to stand, use hand tools, climb poles, and work in various weather conditions

• Associate's degree in electronics or related field
• Basic computer skills for occasional office work

The position offers competitive pay between $20.25 and $37.10, with benefits supporting employee well-being. The role involves working primarily in the field, with some office-related tasks, to ensure the fiber network operates effectively and supports customer connectivity.
