• Prepare all surfaces needed prior to blasting
• Set up equipment needed
• Prepare parts for the paint booth
• Perform quality checks on parts
• Maintain company work standards Backup painter who is efficient with painting equipment and procedures to meet company standards
• Maintain paperwork and keep it organized and up to date
• Communicate job progress to supervisor as needed
• Layout, position, align and secure parts prior to painting
• Operate safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing his/her job function
• Able to read a tape measure
• Follow quality standards and inspect parts for quality before and after painting

• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, or move more than 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
