HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is primarily focused on commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets, grocery stores, and other retail environments. The ideal candidate is experienced in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration equipment while also servicing commercial HVAC systems as needed.

This is a full-time field service position with a company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets and retail facilities
• Service walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in coolers, display cases, ice machines, and refrigeration rack systems
• Troubleshoot compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, controls, and electrical components
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Service commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, package units, and split systems
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Complete accurate service reports and communicate repair recommendations with customers
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional manner
• Follow all safety procedures and industry standards
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred
• Commercial refrigeration experience is required
• Experience servicing supermarket or grocery store refrigeration systems is highly preferred
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• EPA Certification required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions, on rooftops, and in mechanical spaces

Compensation

• $25.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Company vehicle provided
