This individual will perform maintenance repairs and inspections on equipment. Work must be completed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner.

Today, R.D. Offutt Company has grown to include farming operations supporting multiple types of food production across twelve states.
Specific Duties Include- Operate and inspect mechanical equipment to diagnose defects.
- Perform preventive or general maintenance on equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose equipment.
- Safely operate vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold within the company’s area of responsibility.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and the employee handbook.
- Conduct oneself in the presence of customers and the community so as to present a professional image of RD Offutt Farms.
- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open‑book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
- At times may operate various farm equipment and other heavy equipment (specifically a front‑end loader).
- Mandatory participation in the company’s random drug/alcohol testing pool.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
- 3 to 4 years mechanical experience preferred.
- Basic tools to perform duties.
- Customer service skills.
- Computer skills.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- High school diploma preferred.
- CDL preferred.
