Industrial Maintenance Technician
HiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing & Energy industry in Claremont, MN! Salary: $27 - $33 an hour.
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Location:
Claremont, MN.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on mechanical and process equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using schematics, technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain and repair equipment including dryers, conveyors, pumps, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical systems.
- Assist with the repair and maintenance of process-related equipment to minimize downtime and maintain continuous plant operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, service logs, and inspection documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and support efficient plant operations.
- Operate company vehicles for maintenance-related tasks while following all safety protocols.
- Assist with facility upgrades, modifications, and construction-related maintenance projects as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures when working around moving mechanical parts, machinery, confined spaces, heights, and other industrial hazards.
- Communicate technical information clearly with team members and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, service technician work, or process mechanical systems repair.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with complex industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance inventory management is preferred.
- Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and process equipment is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles.
- Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, climbing, and balancing.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work around odors, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, moving mechanical parts, noise, and varying outdoor weather conditions.
