Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all resort facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Ensure the resort’s facilities meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or similar role, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC are preferred.
