The City of Buffalo Lake is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Public Works/Maintenance Worker. This position performs all public works operations including water and wastewater systems, street maintenance, city equipment, city buildings, parks and related work as apparent or assigned.
Requirements- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have or be able to obtain Class C Water License and Class D Wastewater License.
- Maintain or have ability to obtain all required regulatory licenses within 12 months.
- Valid Minnesota Class B drivers license within 12 months.
- Experience in heavy and light equipment operation and maintenance preferred, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on an as needed basis.
- Must be able to utilize time properly and productively, be able to maintain records in an accurate and accessible manner.
- Position is eligible for full benefits.
- Starting wage dependent on experience and qualifications.
