Machine Shop Laborer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Shop Laborers
for projects located in the Morris, MN area
. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-30/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site

Job Scope:

• Assist with fabrication shop activities and machine shop work
• Help brake operators organize and handle parts
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints and dimensions
• Fabricate parts while maintaining precise tolerances
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes after completing required training
• Use a tape measure accurately, including 1/8"," 1/16"," and 1/32" measurements
• Convert feet to inches and fractions to decimals
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Comfortable working with measurements and fractions
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and cranes
• Previous fabrication, machine shop, or industrial experience is a plus
