Are you passionate about supporting families, strengthening communities, and promoting children’s social-emotional well‑being? Three Rivers Community Action is seeking a Head Start Parent, Family, and Community Engagement Coordinator to help lead and strengthen our Early Childhood programs.

You will guide a comprehensive approach to parent, family, and community engagement across the program. This leadership role plays a key part in building strong relationships with families, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality, culturally responsive services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their caregivers. This full‑time position (40 hour per week) is Monday‑Friday and will be based in Northfield or Zumbrota. Starting pay is $25.00‑35.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Parent, Family, and Community Engagement (PFCE) efforts
  • Coach staff and families using reflective supervision
  • Coordinate mental health services, referrals, and partnerships
  • Plan family events and connect families to community resources
  • Use data to drive program improvement and outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, or Counseling.
  • Ability to pass a required background study, as defined by the position
  • Current, valid driver’s license in good standing, as defined by the agency’s insurance provider (unless explicitly approved otherwise by the supervisor)
  • Current, valid personal automobile insurance (unless explicitly approved otherwise by the supervisor)
  • Must possess or be able to learn basic computer skills.
  • Must demonstrate compassion and strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
