Family Services Worker

What You'll Do:
- Build partnerships with families:
Support Head Start families in identifying strengths, setting goals, and working toward positive child and family outcomes. - Provide parenting education:
Deliver engaging parenting trainings with practical skills families can use right away. - Promote family engagement:
Encourage family participation in classrooms, Parent Committees, and Policy Council as active partners in the program. - Connect families to resources:
Link families to community resources and integrated services that support education, health, and family development. - Maintain accurate documentation:
Complete required case notes, data collection, and records in compliance with Head Start and UCAP standards.

Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Somali) a plus, depending on service area.
Education and Experience:
- Credential or certification in Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, Counseling, or a related field (or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire).
- Additional requirements:
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) Ability to pass background study and required health screenings
