Youth Direct Support Professional (DSP) (Mora, MN)
Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our youth foster care home in Mora, MN. As a DSP, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives. Your salary range is $23.25–$23.75 per hour, which may include a rate exception of $4.50 per hour for higher support needs. The role involves shifts between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, 25–35 hours per week, with every other weekend required. Flexibility for a variety of shifts is essential.
What you’ll do as a DSP:
- Assist in day‑to‑day tasks for youth with disabilities and mental illness.
- Perform medication administration, household duties, behavioral management, personal hygiene, and medical care as needed.
- Facilitate community activities such as shopping, concerts, dining out, movies, fitness, outdoor recreation, and more.
- Develop meaningful relationships and contribute to a person‑centered culture.
- Work typical 4–8 hour shifts, scheduled during the week and every other weekend.
Qualifications:
- Pass a post‑offer background check.
- Have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass an MVR check.
- Be 21 or older to work in youth foster care settings.
