Position: CASE AIDE-ADULT PROTECTION
Location: Glencoe

The Case Aide performs a variety of tasks related to the rendering of appropriate paraprofessional social services and related work as assigned. Work is performed under the day-to-day direction of social workers and oversight of a social service supervisor.

Supplemental:
  • The 2026 salary range for this position is $20.66 to $30.99 per hour depending on experience.
    • Relevant previous experience will be taken into consideration.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Duties listed are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all- inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Position Duties
  • Complete documentation and other activities in follow-up to Adult Protection Services (APS) screenings.
  • Manage SSIS records related to all APS Intake and Maltreatment work groups
  • Work closely with APS Social Workers to assist with coordinating supportive services for Vulnerable Adults
  • Assist with documentation as requested by APS Social Workers
  • Manage, in consultation with APS Social Workers, the scheduling, reminders and agendas for McLeod County Adult Protection Team (MCAP) meetings
  • Assist in managing other work related to the APS and Assessor teams
  • Complete training as required and/or other job-related training opportunities
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Three (3) years of successful clerical experience and/or experience working with the public, or the
  • Or two (2) years of successful clerical experience in a social service/human services agency;
  • Or two (2) years of experience as a community service aide or similar experience in a private non- profit agency or other public agency;
  • Or two (2) years of study at an accredited two (2) or four (4) year college/university or similar institution, with emphasis in the behavioral sciences (at least 23 quarter credits or 16 semester credits)
Required Certifications/Licenses
  • Valid Minnesota driver’s license with proof of

  • Regular interaction with County
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed primarily in a standard office
  • Work may involve contacts with emotionally disturbed or hostile
