We’re F‑Secure's New Products and Innovations team, leveraging F‑Secure's proven security technologies while pioneering new consumer experiences, tools, and product concepts.

We’re small by design: a cross‑functional unit of engineers, designers, and product thinkers with autonomy to explore, prototype, and deliver at startup speed. Scams have become an industrial‑scale problem run by sophisticated criminals, and for ordinary people, even experts, it’s getting harder to tell what’s real. We aim for MLP — Minimum Lovable Product — not just viable. Every prototype must earn its place in consumers’ hands by solving a real problem beautifully.

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be part of a small team owning everything from prototype to production. You’ll design, build, and evolve the backend systems and APIs that power our product — from Node.js services and AWS infrastructure to integrations with AI models, third‑party services, and optimizing performance and scalability.

Your work will touch millions of consumers and directly shape the evolution of our product concept: a seamless "safety net" that helps people prevent, protect, and recover from scams with confidence.

• Building Node.js backend services and APIs from concept to production
• Designing and deploying AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo
  
  DB, etc.)
• Driving a rapid internal alpha → beta (10k+ users) → production delivery rhythm
• Integrating new technologies (AI, third‑party APIs, etc.) into real user experiences
• Collaborating closely with frontend engineers to prototype, test, and iterate
• Shipping features to real users every week — and learning fast from their feedback

• 5+ years of experience building production‑grade backend systems
• Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js and AWS cloud services
