Sr. Software Engineer

Cargill is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize software that powers advanced manufacturing and food production systems. You will architect scalable services, integrate plant-floor and enterprise systems, and deliver high quality, secure code. Partner with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability. You'll mentor engineers, champion modern Dev Ops and cloud practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable manufacturing and enterprise software solutions
• Architect and integrate plant-floor and cloud/enterprise systems
• Write, review, and optimize high-quality, secure, and testable code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Dev
• Ops best practices
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and reliability
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership
• Ensure solutions align with safety, compliance, and security standards
