Primary Objective of Positions:
Ensure a safe and fun environment for students, staff, parents, and spectators participating in a youth t-ball league for children ages 3-5.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up site and equipment for games; replace at the end of the day.
- Assist, supervise and help train volunteer coaches; offer coaching support as needed.
- Maintain game schedule. Assist coaches in keeping games fun, safe, and under control.
- Greet coaches, players, and parents before play begins; review game rules with coaches; welcome spectators, introduce teams, and announce games.
- Maintain equipment.
- Maintain First Aid Kit and issue items when needed.
- Monitor fields and rest rooms for safety and appropriate use; be visible and accessible to users at all times; enforce District policies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Evidence of successful experience in working with young children.
- Evidence of successful experience in program leadership
- Evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Evidence of ability to handle multiple tasks
- Certified in First Aid and CPR.
