Sleepy Eye United (a successful cooperative program between Sleepy Eye Public and Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s) is seeking a dynamic, high-energy, and dedicated leader to serve as the Head Varsity Football Coach
. We are looking for an individual who is not only passionate about the game of football but is also committed to the character development and academic success of our student-athletes.

Program Leadership: Direct all aspects of the SEU football program, including varsity, junior varsity, and coordination with junior high levels.

Player Development: Cultivate a culture of discipline, sportsmanship, and physical fitness while teaching fundamental and advanced football skills.

Staff Management: Recruit, supervise, and mentor a staff of assistant coaches to ensure a cohesive coaching philosophy across all levels.

Community Engagement: Act as a positive ambassador for the program within the Sleepy Eye community and maintain strong communication with parents and school administration.

Off-Season Oversight: Manage summer camps, weight room programs, and conditioning sessions to ensure year-round athlete progression.

Coaching

Experience:

Prior experience in a leadership role (Head Coach or Coordinator) at the high school or collegiate level is preferred.

Certification: Must hold or be eligible for a Minnesota coaching license/certification.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of current football schemes, safety protocols, and MSHSL rules and regulations.

Character: Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to motivate young men to reach their full potential on and off the field.
