Job Requirements And Duties
  • Minimum age 18 with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
  • Ability to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area and navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings.
  • Deliver pizzas and flyers within the designated area, making multiple deliveries per shift.
  • Operate store equipment, stock ingredients, prepare product, receive telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean the facility daily.
  • Use computers or touch screens to enter orders, use a calculator for basic math, make correct monetary change, and possess motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers, both over the phone and in person.
  • Maintain reliable driving and navigation skills while carrying product during delivery.
Advancement

Team members can advance from delivery driver to management, general manager, franchise owner, or corporate operations manager.

General

Job Duties for All Store Team Members
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, or walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility daily.
Training

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Essential Functions / Skills
  • Perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately (may use a calculator).
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Use verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands for rapid, accurate movements.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Read maps and locate addresses, navigate adverse terrain, and carry product during delivery.
Work Conditions Exposure To
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F in the cooler to 90 °F or higher in some areas.
  • Sudden temperature changes in the work area and while outside.
  • Fumes from food odors.
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500 °F or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
  • Adverse weather conditions while delivering, driving, and couponing.
Sensing
  • Talking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Far and night vision while driving.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing
    :

  • Carrying
    :
    Large cans (~3 lb), pizza sauce (~30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb per tray); carry during delivery.
  • Pushing & Pulling
    :
    Move trays on dollies, requiring forces up to 7.5 lb.
  • Climbing
    :
    Occasionally navigate stairs or ladders; may involve five or more flights during delivery.
  • Stooping/Bending
    :
    Forward bending at the waist for assembly and stocking; 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously.
  • Crouching/Squatting

  • Reaching
