Job DescriptionWage range is $15-25/hr with your hourly wage and tips earned.
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Elko New Market, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling of items
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery status and any issues
- Valid driver s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong navigation abilities and familiarity with GPS technology
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory
- Proficiency in using smartphones and delivery-related applications
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous delivery experience preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
