-Fri. 8 hours/day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Drives and operates farm machinery to plant, cultivate, spray, fertilize, harvest, and store grain crops including corn, soybeans, and sugar beets. Attaches farm implements such as plows, discs, and drills to tractors to till soil, plant, and cultivate crops. Tows harvesting equipment and operates self-propelled combines to harvest crops. Performs routine maintenance including lubricating and repairing farm machinery, and transports harvested crops to grain elevators or storage areas.
Minimum Education RequiredNo High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience RequiredMinimum of three (3) months of experience required. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. In compliance with Federal, State, and County regulations, applicants must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license within two (2) months of employment. Applicants who already possess a valid driver's license must provide the employer with a current driver's abstract demonstrating an acceptable driving record.

Additional CompensationAs required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Job BenefitsEMPLOYER ASSURANCES:
Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
