Performance Food Group - - Responsibilities:
Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations;
Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver food products on intrastate and interstate routes (local, OTR, shuttle) including overnight layovers;
Complete required freight paperwork accurately and legibly and verify customer invoices;
Ensure freight is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded at customer locations; handle damaged goods and returns per procedures;
Maintain DOT hours-of-service compliance and adhere to company safety policies; communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
