Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Gaylord, MN — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $1,116 - $1,562 per week, depending on schedule. Includes $3,000 loyalty bonus ($1,500 at 6 months, $1,500 at 1 year).

  • Hourly Pay: $31.00 for PM Shift
  • Hours per week: 36‑48, depending on schedule chosen
  • Tanker endorsement within 30‑60 days of hire
  • Backing experience required
  • Schedule:

    4 days one week, 3 the next week
  • Start Time: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
Route & Job Details
  • Local home daily – yard
  • No freight, no touch, yard work
  • Company reimburses cost and provides training for endorsements

Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass Ryder drug test
  • Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years
  • Pass DOT physical
  • Pass Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
  • Class A experience: 9 months within past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations and agency rules and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned
