Order Entry & Transportation Coordinator (Dispatcher)
This role serves as a vital connection between customers, carriers, and internal operations by managing order entry and coordinating transportation logistics. You will ensure accurate order processing, schedule and dispatch shipments, and maintain clear communication to support on-time delivery and strong customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at multitasking and organization.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately enter and process customer orders using internal systems
- Coordinate transportation logistics, including scheduling and dispatching shipments
- Communicate proactively with customers, carriers, and internal teams regarding order and delivery status
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email and resolve order or shipment issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipping and order records
- Collaborate with production and inventory teams to ensure product availability and align dispatch schedules
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Harris Data) to manage orders and documentation
- Use freight systems (e.g., Freightview) to arrange and optimize shipments
- Prioritize and manage multiple orders and dispatch needs simultaneously
- Ensure high levels of data accuracy and attention to detail
- Support general office and dispatch operations as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in order entry, dispatch, logistics, or customer service
- Strong communication skills (phone and email)
- High attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience coordinating shipments and working with carriers
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
- Strong prioritization and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Experience with ERP systems (Harris Data or similar)
- Familiarity with freight/logistics platforms (e.g., Freightview)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jordan, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00/hr.
