Location: Deer River
Job Overview
This position is responsible for delivering automotive parts along a predetermined route in the Duluth, MN / Ashland, WI area, while providing the highest levels of customer service. The schedule/route starts and finishes each day in Deer River, MN. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 10‑hour days beginning at 5:00 a.m. No nights or weekends.
Responsibilities- Loading and unloading automotive parts and safely operating a parts delivery vehicle.
- Delivering automotive parts to customers on schedule and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers and building new customer accounts.
- Performing all paperwork accurately and detail‑oriented.
- Communicating with customers, warehouse staff, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient deliveries.
- Safe driving throughout each workday, obeying all traffic laws and avoiding accidents.
- Working independently without direct supervision, staying productive and on task throughout the day.
- Maintaining a neat and professional appearance that reflects the company.
- Lifting up to 100 pounds and performing work‑related movements such as standing, sitting, carrying, lifting, twisting, kneeling, and squatting.
- Being older than or equal to 21 years of age.
- Holding a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Possessing a DOT Health Card or the ability to obtain one.
This position is paid on a commission/incentive‑based Pay Plan. The compensation includes an annual base salary of $42,000 and additional incentives for key metrics such as Guest Service, miles driven, and pieces delivered. There is no limit or cap on the incentive amounts.
