Location: Glencoe
Class A CDL Truck Driver
Glencoe, MN
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Salary & Schedule- Weekly pay: $1,116 - $1,562 per week depending on schedule
- Hourly pay: $31.00 for PM shift
- Hours per week: 36–48 hours depending on chosen schedule
- Schedule:
4 days one week and 3 days the following week - Start time: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
- Endorsements:
Tanker endorsement within 30–60 days of hire - Backing experience required
- Loyalty bonus: $3,000 total ($1,500 paid at 6 months and $1,500 paid at 1 year)
- Local home daily – yard work
- No freight, no touch, yard work only
- Costs reimbursed and training provided for endorsements
- Medical, dental and vision after 30 days
- 80 hours paid time off in the first year, use it or get paid for it
- Uniforms, cell phone and boot allowance provided
- Drivers are the captain – you make safety decisions and have job protection
- 401(k) rollover available now and company match at 1 year
- 12 weeks paid maternity leave subject to specific eligibility criteria

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test - Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A verifiable driving experience:
- 9 months within the last 3 years, or
- 2 years within the last 5 years, or
- 5 years within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs
- Load or unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer.
