Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Weekly pay: $1,116 - $1,562 per week depending on schedule
• Hourly pay: $31.00 for PM shift
• Hours per week: 36–48 hours depending on chosen schedule
• Schedule:
  
  4 days one week and 3 days the following week
• Start time: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
• Endorsements:
  Tanker endorsement within 30–60 days of hire
• Backing experience required
• Loyalty bonus: $3,000 total ($1,500 paid at 6 months and $1,500 paid at 1 year)

• Local home daily – yard work
• No freight, no touch, yard work only
• Costs reimbursed and training provided for endorsements

• Medical, dental and vision after 30 days

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
  
  Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable driving experience:
  • 9 months within the last 3 years, or
  • 2 years within the last 5 years, or
  • 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs
• Load or unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer.
