The Route Driver will be responsible for picking up dead hogs, cattle and meat scraps from farm sites on a daily route and returning to the Blue Earth MN.
- Work Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Wednesday is clean-up day or other task. - Flexible Start Time: 6:00am.
- Work Hours Per Day: 10 - 11 hours.

- Must be able to handle outside elements year round
- Collects and inspects products at time of pick up for any foreign material at customer location.
- Required to maintain an Electronic DOT log.
- Responsible and operates vehicle in accordance with Company, federal, state and local regulations.
- Conducts pre and post trip vehicle inspections; observes company policy, procedures and safety rules.
- Maintains excellent customer relations by providing quality, professional service at all times.
- Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies on a daily basis.
- Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
- All other duties as assigned by management
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Valid Class B's driver's license.
- Class A's driver's license preferred.
- Prior route experience within a customer oriented environment.
- Ability to work well with internal staff and external customers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
- Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
- Occasionally lifts up to 75 lbs.
- Occasionally required to load deadstock and/or bins with assistance from a wench on their vehicle.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
Job functions will be carried out in a commercial motor vehicle, customer locations, and plant environment.
