Tersteeg Transport Inc is looking for a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join their team in Olivia, MN! This is a great opportunity to get behind the wheel with a company that values its drivers and keeps freight moving. - This position is 100% local hauling and would be home daily.
- Hour of work will vary depending on customer demand. There is no minimum or maximum of guaranteed hours per workweek.
- Yearly - $90,000 - $120,000
- Paid Bi-weekly
- Operate commercial truck to transport and deliver freight safely and on schedule
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate driver logs and records in accordance with FMCSA regulations
- Unload cargo as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation laws
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
- Must be 21 +
- Must be able to operate a live bottom/ belt trailer (experience with operation of belt trailer is appreciated)
- Manual transmission certified
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred
