Inventory Clerk

Location: Caledonia

Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Caledonia, Minnesota. This is a contract-to-permanent position where you will play a crucial role in managing warehouse inventory and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment with room for growth and development.

Responsibilities:

- Verify incoming shipments against packing slips to ensure accuracy in parts, products, and quantities.

- Utilize inventory management systems to record, track, and organize stock efficiently.

- Safely handle and store materials, including items weighing up to 60 pounds.

- Prepare and pack outgoing orders for shipment while maintaining deadlines.

- Operate machinery such as forklifts to move and organize inventory.

- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space, adhering to safety protocols.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate inventory counts and timely processing of orders.

- Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of steel toe boots and safety glasses.

- Assist in periodic physical inventory checks and audits.

- Adapt to overtime needs based on business requirements. Requirements

- Previous experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and inventory.

- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 60 pounds regularly.

- Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities.

- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

- Ability to work occasional overtime as needed.
