Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills and establish retailer relationships while representing Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00-$17.00 depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.

- Position is part‑time with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 5‑8 hours per week.
- Availability the week before/after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department, and to communicate with supervisors and report time. - Holiday support:
Provide additional days and extended hours during sales peaks and may be required to work on actual holidays, including weekends. - Department resets:
Assist with installations, relocating card departments, resetting sections, and may be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which could include evenings or weekends. - Team collaboration:
Support other merchandisers in the field organization as needed.
This job is physically demanding. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs and step ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficient in operating a digital handheld device for reading documents.
- Access to Wi‑Fi network and Internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
