Project Accountant

Position Overview

Project Accountant within the Admin Department in Minnetonka, MN. Full‑time, non‑hybrid position reporting to the Controller. The role supports daily accounting duties and provides insight into overall business operations while performing core accounting competencies.

• Project cost accounting, collaborating closely with Project Managers to generate accurate client billings and collect past‑due accounts.
• Process client invoices into third‑party portals and maintain project financial information in Deltek software.
• Perform other accounting duties assigned by the Controller.

• 3–5 years of project cost accounting experience within an AEC firm, with demonstrated knowledge of accounting procedures and monthly billings.
• Working experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or Deltek (Vantagepoint or Vision).
• High attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and a “can‑do” attitude.
• Team‑oriented, professional demeanor, and strong work ethic.
• Proficient and accurate data entry skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint experience highly preferred.

Hourly rate $28.50–$35.75, based on individual qualifications, experience, work location and education. Eligible for an annual bonus.
