* Summary:

** Process payroll transactions. Perform data entry and accounting services. 5-7 years payroll processing experience required. Extensive payroll experience in a fast-paced, multi-state, demanding environment is needed. Comprehensive knowledge of wage and hour laws, garnishment laws, and taxability of wages. CPP or FPC preferred but not required.
** Responsibilities may include:
*** Lead daily, biweekly, and special payroll processes for multi-state payroll for Us non-exempt and exempt employees.
* Process payroll for up to 500  employees
* Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
* Maintain payroll control records
* Provide guidance to the team on payroll processing, tax laws, garnishments, system issues and general troubleshooting in payroll.
* Assist with mentoring of payroll specialists and as a backup for their duties.
* Work with the team to research and respond to escalated employee inquiries.
* Authorizes, reviews, and prepare complex payroll transactions.
* Assist with final payroll check calculation review
* Perform adhoc projects as needed
* Assist in month/quarter/year-end close
* Completes verification of employment verifications, garnishments, and EDD notices as needed.
* Provide support to managers and employees with Workday’s time tracking and absence modules
* Back up for payroll transmit.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
** Knowledge and Skills Required to be successful:
*** UKG* Workday
* High proficient in excel (vlooks, pivot tables, and formulas)
* Ability to work in a fast paced and high volume environment.

** Position's Pay Range**:$31.00 - $36.00### ##
