LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in Minnetonka to hire a Payroll Specialist. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid schedule, a collaborative team environment, and strong opportunities for training and professional development.
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office)
- Compensation: $27-$35/hour
- Employment Type: Permanent
About the Team
You’ll join a well-established payroll department consisting of a Director of Payroll, two Supervisors, and a team of Payroll Specialists and Senior Payroll Specialists. The team is known for its collaborative environment, hands‑on training, and commitment to continued learning and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for approximately 600-1,000 employees
- Audit payroll data and resolve payroll issues and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records
- Calculate and process complex commission payments
- Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance activities
- Respond to employee and manager payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in accordance with company policies and regulations
Qualifications
- 1+ years of payroll experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ADP, UKG, and/or Workday is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
