Overview
Job Title Executive Assistant - Advanced Materials and Transportation Product Platforms
Responsibilities- Providing administrative support for the Advanced Materials and Transportation Product Platforms President, BFA Portfolio VP, TMSM Portfolio VP, and AMTPP Business Director.
- Performing administrative duties such as coordinating travel, managing calendars, reviewing and routing incoming correspondence, database management, managing business distribution lists, managing aspects of SharePoint sites and other internal communications platforms.
- Scheduling and supporting on-and off-site meetings, video conferences and teleconferences and making necessary arrangements to set-up meeting space.
- Being key point person for Advanced Materials and Transportation Product Platforms leadership team keeping organized with various key dates and deadlines.
- Process invoices in SAP for business related expenses.
- Assisting with hiring process and new employee onboarding.
- Work on special and ongoing projects as directed.
- Serving as a resource for interpretation and application of standard department/corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, and practices.
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to office and department procedures and programs.
- Having highly developed written and oral communication skills and collaboration skills.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- Seven (7) years of combined experience in an administrative assistant function, secretarial, and/or clerical role in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience with employee data systems such as SAP, Workday, Concur expense reporting, etc.
- Experience supporting an executive conference member.
- Experience handling confidential, sensitive business information and supporting executive level professionals.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Experience using digital tools to improve personal productivity and business processes.

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. - Travel:
May include up to 10%. - Relocation:
May be authorized.

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $74,644 - $91,231, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
