Position SummaryThe Automotive Technician is a vital member of the automotive service team, learning diagnostic, repair and maintenance skills under experienced technicians. The role includes routine inspections, vehicle assessments, repair procedures and customer interaction. A sign‑on bonus of $1,500 is offered to first‑time hires.
Pay Range$19.25 – $28.93 plus performance‑based flat‑rate pay. Rates reflect average productivity by region and are compliant with all applicable wage requirements.
Responsibilities- Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
- Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
- Install batteries and check electrical systems.
- Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
- Road test vehicles.
- Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment; company pays test fees and bonuses are awarded for each pass.
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services, including oil changes, basic inspections and those requiring reading, writing and math skills.
- 2years of automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational‑technical school program in a related field.
- Demonstrated skills via third‑party certificates/assessments.
- A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
- Medical, Dental and Vision – Starting day1 for all teammates.
