School year – part‑time afternoon and full‑time positions available at multiple elementary schools.

• $21.94 per hour
  • This position qualifies for a stipend from a DHS Stabilization Grant.

• Not benefit eligible.

• Provides support in by working one‑on‑one with a student identified as having difficulty participating in daily activities.
• Assist student with necessary supervision during transitions, large and small group activities, and unstructured play.
• Model appropriate intervention strategies.
• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff in the team to ensure the safety and success of all children.

• Experience working with children with special needs or behavior challenges
• Proven positive human relations skills with adults and students
• Demonstrated ability to take direction and work as a team member
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative
• Evidence of friendly, out‑going personality.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proven record of punctuality and responsibility
• Experience supporting student instruction in the classroom preferred.

Medium work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
