Assignment

2026 Winter/Spring Season. Class will have six Thursday evening 90‑minute practices from February 19th to March 26th.

Wages

$450 stipend. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance for all cheer participants.
  • Attend and coach practices with a high level of energy.
  • Collaborate with assistant coaches to organize, set‑up, and ensure a safe practice or competition.
  • Help all participants to develop to their full potential.
  • Implement age appropriate program philosophies, goals, policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that all participants follow Minnetonka School District guidelines and code of conduct.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Promote sportsmanship and respect for judges, teams, parents, fans, athletes, administrators and fellow competitors.
    • Job Qualifications
  • Complete concussion training as required by law.
  • Prior experience in cheer is required.
  • Evidence of successful coaching experience; ability to teach fundamental skills.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, respectful attitude.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work with students, parents, and staff.
  • Commitment to program's high standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • AACCA completion is preferred.
