Job Responsibilities- Provide support in byworking one-on-onewithastudentidentifiedashavingdifficultyparticipatingindailyactivities.
- Assist studentwithnecessarysupervisionduringtransitions,largeandsmallgroupactivities,andunstructuredplay.
- Modelappropriateinterventionstrategies.
- Workcollaborativelywiththeleadteacherandotherstaffintheteamtoensurethesafetyandsuccessofallchildren.
- Experience working with children with special needs or behavior challenges
- Proven positive human relations skills with adults and students
- Demonstrated ability to take direction and work as a team member
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Evidence of friendly, out-going personality.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proven record of punctuality and responsibility.
- Experience supporting student instruction in the classroom preferred.
Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
